The World Health Organization (WHO) announced on Thursday the appointment of Dr. Vanessa Kerry as the organization’s first-ever Director-General Special Envoy for Climate Change and Health.

Dr. Kerry is a “global health expert,” medical doctor, and CEO of Seed Global Health, according to a WHO press release, and will “play a pivotal role in amplifying WHO’s climate and health messaging and undertake high-level advocacy.”

“We are delighted to have Dr Vanessa Kerry join WHO as our Special Envoy for Climate Change and Health,” said WHO Director-General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus. “Her extensive experience and dedication to public health make her an invaluable asset in addressing the health consequences of climate change. Together, we will work towards a more sustainable and resilient future for all.”

Kerry is a World Economic Forum (WEF) Young Global Leader and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) (here, here), two of the most powerful organizations promoting and installing globalism into businesses and governments around the world.

She spoke about “putting health at the heart of climate action” at the WEF’s Davos meeting in January.

During her time in medical school, Kerry conducted a study on immunization in Ghana as an intern at the Vaccine Fund of the Global Alliance for Vaccines (GAVI), founded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

She was one of 24 inaugural fellows of WomenLift Health, awarded by the Gates Foundation.

In September 2021, Kerry told her Twitter followers to “embrace” governments’ forcing citizens to take vaccines under threat of losing their “civil liberties.”

“Want to Enhance Civil Liberties? Embrace Vaccine Mandates,” she tweeted, referencing a New York Times article proposing that only vaccination should grant us access to “schools,” “houses of worship,” and “political meetings.”

The Times piece also declared that required vaccination “outweighs personal autonomy and individual freedom.”

it also dismissed “those who object to vaccination on religious grounds,” claiming that “[l]ike personal autonomy, religious freedom is an essential right, but not an unfettered license to inflict harm on others.”

Two months later, Kerry pushed vaccination, masking, social distancing, testing, and contact tracing—government workers contacting individuals for personal health information—as “effective tools” against the coronavirus pandemic.

The WHO alleges in the press release that so-called “climate change” is becoming the “greatest health challenge of the 21st century.”

This is despite the WHO’s own confirmation that cardiovascular, respiratory, and neonatal diseases comprise the top causes of death in the world.

“Climate change” doesn’t appear on the WHO’s top 10 list of “leading causes of death globally.”

Without explaining how, the globalist health body also alleges that “[e]xtreme weather events, noncommunicable and infectious diseases, as well as health infrastructure and workforce capacity” are all linked to climate change.

One of Dr. Kerry’s primary roles will be to publicize the WHO’s “climate and health messaging” in order to “ignite a widespread understanding and sense of urgency.”

Her work will play a role in “shaping policies, fostering collaborations, and driving transformative action to protect and promote the health of populations in the face of climate challenges.”

The WHO lists the following as Kerry’s responsibilities:

  • amplifying WHO’s climate and health messaging, disseminating WHO’s crucial messages on the significance of climate change and health, influential figures, and policymakers to ignite a widespread understanding and sense of urgency
  • undertaking high-level advocacy for global impact
  • supporting WHO’s work and engaging in the work of global and regional organizations and national governments, in line with WHO’s expert guidance
  • fostering the adoption and adaptation of WHO’s recommendations, while considering the unique contexts of local, national, and regional circumstances
  • providing strategic advice to the Director-General and decision-makers, strengthening WHO’s position as a trusted and authoritative source of information and support, aligning with WHO’s own guidance
  • help mobilize resources to advance the work of WHO, seeking out new partners and influential figures, including prominent personalities, recognizing their potential to lend their expertise and resources to amplify WHO’s initiatives

“I am honoured to serve as the WHO Director-General Special Envoy for Climate Change and Health,” Kerry said in the press release. “The climate crisis is a health crisis – it poses a fundamental threat to global health, and urgent action is needed to mitigate and adapt against this complex challenge. Climate change is already wreaking havoc across the world – from the cholera outbreak in Malawi to heat-related illness in India – we must invest in strong health systems now which are resilient against these impacts.”

“I will work with WHO and its partners to drive awareness, develop solutions and build consensus for action for a healthier future for everyone on this planet,” she added.
