The White House visitor log shows that President Joe Biden’s doctor reportedly met with a Parkinson’s disease expert numerous times this year.
According to online records, Kevin Cannard, who is allegedly a “Movement Disorders specialist at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center,” met with White House doctor Kevin O’Connor in January 2024.
Cannard traveled to the White House at least eight other times for appointments in the past year, dating back to August 25.
He was also recorded at the White House twice on September 1.
Other dates include October 13, November 17, January 17, January 26, and March 28.
According to The New York Times, the doctor made ten visits to the White House in 2012, when Biden was vice president, four visits in 2013, and 1 visit in 2014.
A White House spokesperson said that a “wide variety of specialists from the Walter Reed system visit the White House complex to treat thousands of military personnel who work on the grounds.”
The information comes as Biden has faced widespread scrutiny over his debate performance with former President Donald Trump last month.
House Committee on Oversight and Accountability Chairman James Comer (R-KY) demanded last week that Dr. Kevin O’Connor, President Joe Biden’s physician, testify regarding the president’s medical assessments and any association with the Biden family’s business dealings.
In a letter sent to O’Connor, Comer wrote, “The Oversight Committee is concerned your medical assessments have been influenced by your private business endeavors with the Biden family.”
“Recent evidence obtained by the Committee shows your and James Biden’s involvement with Americore Health, LLC (Americore),” the letter continues. “James Biden, the President’s brother, used funds from Americore to pay Joe Biden $200,000 as the company was facing financial distress. Americore is a company that operated rural hospitals and is currently involved in bankruptcy proceedings.”
The letter noted that James Biden revealed that O’Connor “provided him counsel in connection with the alleged work he was performing for Americore.”
“To understand the extent of your involvement in the Biden family’s financial activity, we request that you produce all documents and communications in your possession regarding Americore and James Biden,” Comer wrote. “Additionally, the Committee requests you make yourself available for a transcribed interview with Committee counsel.”
