Vigils Organized at Canadian Embassies in Protest of Pastor’s Imprisonment Over Preaching at Freedom Convoy

Gatherings have been planned in support of Canadian pastor Artur Pawlowski who sits in solitary confinement after speaking to truckers along the US/Canada border last week.

QUICK FACTS:
  • Peaceful prayer protests have been organized at Canadian consulates across the United States Tuesday, including Chicago, Los Angeles, Seattle, New York City and Las Vegas, Fox News reported.
  • Executive Director of Firebrand Action and Media Cindy Cahafian is organizing the vigils and is calling for solidarity with Pastor Artur.
  • “On February 15, 2022, we are calling on everyone who supports Pastor Artur in his fight for freedom to join the worldwide solidarity movement,” Firebrand and Action’s website says. “Those who understand history know that this fight must be won now, before it’s too late to turn back.”
PAWLOWSKI’S MESSAGE TO THE TRUCKERS:

“May God help us all, because we don’t fight with guns and swords,” he said. “We just want to go back and work hard and achieve something and provide for our families. We just want to be left alone.”

BACKGROUND:
  • Pawlowski, who has been arrested five times since the start of the pandemic, has spent the past week in a maximum-security Calgary prison after urging truckers to “hold the line.”
  • Being a refugee of Poland, the pastor has dedicated the last year to speaking throughout the United States and warning of government overreach in the West becoming strikingly similar to that of communist regimes.
  • This latest arrest came as Pawlowski was on his way to hold a church service and speak to the truckers partaking in the Freedom Convoy.
