Video: More Parents Speak Out Against Sex And LGBT Books In Schools

“We’re not going to stand for any attempt to sexualize our kids”

Parents in Texas have voiced their concerns over books in schools describing acts of sex and issues around lesbian, gay, bisexual and gender identity, saying the material is inappropriate for children.

At a board hearing in the Clear Creek Independent School District, parents stood up and berated officials on the literature.

One of the parents, Mark Callahan, said “There’s an army of parents doing a deep dive into all things literature in CCISD.”

He told officials that “These parents, your constituents mind you, are not going to sit by idly while the culture war that is being waged in America attempts to engulf our most precious gifts.”

Callahan referred to a particular book titled “Sex Is a Funny Word,” which is targeted at 8 to 10-year-olds, and according to its author is “the first sex education book for this age group that is inclusive of lesbian, gay, and bisexual experience as well as gender creative and gender-nonconforming children.”

“Whether it’s drag queen storytime, books like the one that was exposed, or any other attempt to sexualize our kids,” Callahan urged, “we’re not going to stand for it.”

After the parents flagged the material, the CCISD Board announced it is undertaking a review and has paused access to the literature.

This case is one of many where parents have spoken out against books and subject matter, including transgenderismpedophilia, gay pornography, and critical race theory, that children as young as Kindergarten age are being subjected to in America’s schools.

Parents nation-wide have found themselves under attack by leftists and even government entities over recent weeks after taking on school officials.

As Tucker Carlson recently detailed, the Biden administration is using the Department of Justice and the FBI to target parents who refuse to go along with its medical mandates and teaching of such ‘social justice’ theories in schools.
