University of Iowa Plans ‘Trans Day of Revenge’

The University of Iowa planned a “Trans Day of Revenge” for December 8, the Young America’s Foundation reported.

A flyer for the event shows an individual beating the university’s mascot.

Attendees are told to cover their face and hair and “wear black.”

Another poster for the event instructs protestors to bring their own mask.

It says the “Transgender Solidarity March” is in “response to the targeted arrest of nine transgender activists this year by the Iowa City Police for peacefully protesting at the IMU, and the continuing anti-trans legislation in Iowa.”

Police arrested individuals who blocked traffic outside of an event.

The protests followed a presentation given by de-transitioner Chloe Cole, who shared her experience with gender dysphoria.
