UK Issuing Alarmist Climate Change Warnings About ‘Extreme Heat’ With Slanted Data

These warnings come after a relatively mild summer thus far.

QUICK FACTS:
  • Government officials in the United Kingdom have warned residents they are experiencing some of the most extreme heat the area has seen in recent days.
  • The reports of increased heat follow relatively milk summer months thus far, and the government to hit the metaphorical “panic button” over elevated temperatures in what some are calling a disingenuous move.
  • The UK Met Office, which is known to be a supporter of climate change ideology, has begun to warn of “extreme heat.”
  • The UK issued its first national emergency due to a heatwave.
  • However, some believe the numbers are false, with one journalist accusing officials of taking the readings near airport runway pavement to artificially inflate the readings.
  • One publication confirmed that assertion, saying the Provisional Met Office figures show temperatures from London’s Heathrow Airport.
  • Emeritus Professors William Happer and Richard Lindzen told the U.S. government that over the last several decades, “NASA and NOAA have been fabricating temperature data to argue that rising CO2 levels have led to the hottest year on record.” If true, this could be creating false and manipulated data that is an “egregious violation of scientific method.”
MET OFFICE ADVISORY ABOUT EXTREME HEAT:
  • “Population-wide adverse health effects experienced, not limited to those most vulnerable to extreme heat, leading to serious illness or danger to life. Government advice is that 999 services should be used in emergencies only; seek advice from 111 if you need non-emergency health advice,” the Met Office said about their “extreme heat” warning.
  • “Substantial changes in working practices and daily routines will be required,” the government website went on. “High risk of failure of heat-sensitive systems and equipment, potentially leading to localised loss of power and other essential services, such as water or mobile phone services.”
  • “Significantly more people visiting coastal areas, lakes and rivers, leading to an increased risk of water safety incidents. Delays on roads and road closures, along with delays and cancellations to rail and air travel, with significant welfare issues for those who experience even moderate delays.”
BACKGROUND:
  • Governments around the world have promised to make changes to fend off climate change, including the Biden administration.
  • Included in their climate change plan is the banishment of internal combustion engines in favor of electric cars.
  • The U.S. is slated to include a “kill switch” in electric cars that allows law enforcement to access data about the car and how it was driven.
  • However, recent data from respected scientists is casting doubt on the methodology behind climate change science, raising serious concern about the theory of global warming in general.
