U.S. Military Admits Myocarditis Cases Increased Following COVID-19 Vaccines

A Pentagon official confirmed cases of myocarditis in the U.S. military increased following the introduction of COVID-19 vaccines.

Comparing myocarditis cases in 2021 with the average amount between 2016 to 2020, there was a 151% percent increase, with 275 cases in 2021.

According to Gilbert Cisneros Jr., Undersecretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness, the rate of myocarditis was 69.8 among those who previously had COVID-19.

The rate of myocarditis was 21.7 among servicemembers who were vaccinated.

“This suggests that it was more likely to be [COVID-19] infection and not COVID-19 vaccination that was the cause,” Cisneros said.

Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) doubts the figures, writing to Cisneros, “It is unclear whether or how it accounted for service members who had a prior COVID-19 infection and received a COVID-19 vaccination.”

Dr. Peter McCullogh stated the increased myocarditis cases in 2021 was “most likely due to ill-advised COVID-19 vaccination,” drawing upon a study from Israel for evidence.

Data on the Defense Medical Epidemiology Database (DMED) has continued to change, however, leading people to believe the site was vulnerable to manipulation.

Military officials later said data from 2016 to 2020 was “corrupted” during a “database maintenance process.”

Reporting from The Epoch Times:

Whistleblowers revealed in 2021 that myocarditis, as reflected in the Defense Medical Epidemiology Database (DMED), had soared to 2,868 percent higher than the average from 2016 to 2020. They downloaded the data in August 2021.

“Without the whistleblower’s disclosure, I doubt DOD would have ever acknowledged that it provided incomplete information to my office in February 2022 and again in July 2022,” Mr. Johnson said.

He said the DOD had demonstrated “a complete disregard for transparency” and urged officials to make clear whether it has investigated whether any of the medical conditions for which diagnoses spiked are associated with the vaccines.
