Twitter reportedly suspends Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s personal account for “repeated violations.”

QUICK FACTS:

GREENE’S RESPONSE:
  • Rep. Greene released a statement after the ban, saying, “Social media platforms can’t stop the truth from being spread far and wide. Big Tech can’t stop the truth. Communist Democrats can’t stop the truth. I stand with the truth and the people. We will overcome!”
  • Greene accused Silicon Valley companies like Twitter of “doing the bidding of the Biden regime to restrict our voices and prevent the spread of any message that isn’t state-approved.”
BACKGROUND:

  • Greene’s personal account was suspended in August following Twitter marking her tweet about the “failing” vaccines as misleading.
