President Donald Trump reported more than $2 billion in total earnings during 2025, according to a financial disclosure report released Tuesday by the U.S. Office of Government Ethics. The 927-page document reveals the bulk of those earnings came from Trump’s crypto ventures, including World Liberty Financial and the $TRUMP meme coin.
Trump reported more than $526.8 million in proceeds from tokens sold by World Liberty Financial (WLF), the digital finance company he co-founded with sons Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump ahead of his second inauguration. He also reported more than $65.6 million in equity sales from the firm. Barron Trump is listed in the disclosure as a decentralized finance “visionary” for the venture.
The president also reported more than $635 million in royalties connected to his meme coin, through a licensing agreement between CIC Digital LLC, an affiliate of the Trump Organization, and a company called Celebration Coins. From WLF and the meme coin alone, Trump reported over $1.2 billion in income last year.
In January 2025, a firm tied to the government of the United Arab Emirates paid $500 million for a 49 percent stake in WLF, a deal signed by Eric Trump. Months later, the Trump administration and the UAE announced plans to partner on an AI data center in Abu Dhabi.
The disclosure also shows Trump held positions in dozens of corporations, collecting millions more through various business holdings. The 927-page filing is nearly 700 pages longer than his 2024 annual disclosure.
The report was released the same day Congress was weighing legislation aimed at regulating the crypto industry. The administration has pushed lawmakers to pass the Clarity Act, which would establish clear rules for digital assets, though the bill has stalled amid broader congressional debates.
Trump has openly championed the crypto industry since returning to office, positioning the United States as a global hub for digital finance. The administration reversed several Biden-era regulatory crackdowns on the sector shortly after taking office in January 2025.
