Trump’s $2 Trillion Middle East Deals Ignite Business Boom

President Donald Trump returned from a weeklong Middle East tour with over $2 trillion in new economic agreements, drawing praise from top U.S. business leaders. The deals, spanning defense, technology, and energy sectors, signal a significant expansion of American influence and economic engagement in the region.

Key agreements include a $600 billion investment commitment from Saudi Arabia, $200 billion in commercial deals with the United Arab Emirates, and a $1.2 trillion economic exchange agreement with Qatar. Additionally, the U.S. and Qatar finalized $243.5 billion in commercial and defense contracts.

White House Assistant Press Secretary Taylor Rogers stated, “President Trump secured trillions of dollars in great deals, and his first foreign trip was a huge success.” Business leaders echoed this sentiment, highlighting the administration’s role in facilitating these landmark agreements.

Amazon CEO Andy Jassy announced a partnership with Saudi Arabia’s AI company HUMAIN, involving a $5 billion investment to develop an “AI Zone” and train 100,000 Saudi citizens. Google President Ruth Porat emphasized the collaboration’s potential to create highly-skilled jobs and advance AI innovation.

DataVolt CEO Rajit Nanda credited the Trump administration’s technology and trade frameworks for enabling U.S.-Saudi collaborations in the digital sector. Oracle CEO Safra Catz highlighted the expanded partnership’s benefits for Saudi Arabia’s economy and health sector, reinforcing U.S.-Saudi ties.

In aviation, Boeing secured its largest-ever order for widebody planes from Qatar, with CEO Kelly Ortberg acknowledging President Trump’s support in strengthening U.S. manufacturing and sustaining domestic jobs. Lockheed Martin President Jim Taiclet also praised the administration’s efforts in facilitating defense deals that bolster U.S. industry.

These agreements underscore the Trump administration’s commitment to fostering economic growth and strategic partnerships in the Middle East, aligning with its broader “America First” policy agenda.
