In a recent exclusive interview with Tudor Dixon, a former Michigan gubernatorial candidate and conservative commentator, former President Donald Trump shared his views on the growing apprehensions surrounding the adverse effects of COVID-19 vaccines.

Dixon began by referencing the challenges that Americans have faced since the onset of the pandemic and broached the topic of the potential resurgence of COVID-19-related lockdowns.

Responding to concerns about possible future shutdowns, especially in light of recent shutdowns in Kentucky, Trump was clear, stating, “We don’t do shutdowns,” The Gateway Pundit is reporting.

He went on to add, “They say it’s COVID because they love using the word COVID. If you have a flu season, they call it COVID.”

Speaking about the health crisis, Trump suggested that not all health concerns could be attributed to the virus, showing skepticism by saying, “It sounds to me like if something’s coming back, they blame everything.”

He also did not mince words when discussing President Biden’s approach to the pandemic, noting, “I always said Biden did a lousy job with COVID.”

The conversation soon shifted towards vaccines. Citing concerns about vaccine-induced myocarditis, blood clots, and heart attacks, Dixon posed a pertinent question, “So will you demand that the vaccine companies, that the pharmaceutical companies release their vaccine data to the public?”

Trump responded firmly, stating, “Well, they should do that. We’re all in this together, and they should be doing that.”

He further emphasized the necessity for the public to be aware of research findings, adding, “People should understand that, and they should know what research is showing and what fact-finding.”

Reflecting on the initial outbreak, Trump mentioned, “Don’t forget, when we started, nobody ever had any idea, even the word pandemic.”

He further expressed his belief about the origins of the virus, saying, “What that Wuhan lab and what came out of there, because it came out of the Wuhan lab. And what that did to the world was unbelievable.”

Dixon also brought up the Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness (PREP) Act, under which pharmaceutical companies are protected from vaccine injury liabilities until December 2024.

To this, Trump insisted on the importance of transparency and accountability, asserting, “They have to be honest with the numbers, the facts, and they have an obligation to be honest.”

As the interview wrapped up, Dixon emphasized the people’s desire for Trump to champion their concerns, especially those skeptical of vaccines.

“Mr. President, I’m telling you, there are people out there that are desperate to have you stand for them in that case,” she said, to which Trump reassured, “Well, we’ll stand for them in many ways.”

It’s worth noting that recently, Trump released a video on Truth Social, voicing his strong opposition to any potential reinstatement of COVID-19 restrictions.

In the video, he suggested that concerns over new variants are being exaggerated as a means to impact the 2024 presidential elections, accusing the “left-wing lunatics” of using the pandemic as a scare tactic.

He concluded the video with a stark message, stating, “These are bad people. These are sick people we’re dealing with. But to every COVID tyrant who wants to take away our freedom, hear these words, WE WILL NOT COMPLY, so don’t even think about it.”
