Former President Donald Trump is set to sit down and hold a “major interview” with Tesla CEO and billionaire Elon Musk.
Trump announced on Truth Social that he is going to do an interview with Elon Musk on Monday night.
“ON MONDAY NIGHT I’LL BE DOING A MAJOR INTERVIEW WITH ELON MUSK — Details to follow!” Trump wrote.
Earlier this week, Musk explained his reasons for endorsing Donald Trump in the upcoming 2024 presidential election during an interview with podcast host Lex Fridman.
“He just got shot. He’s got blood streaming down his face, and he’s fist-pumping, saying, ‘Fight.’ That’s impressive,” Musk said of Trump’s recent assassination attempt.
“Most people would be ducking,” he said. “You want someone who is strong and courageous to represent the country.”
The billionaire claimed he doesn’t think Trump is without his own flaws, but he is a better candidate than the Democratic options.
“It was a choice of Biden who has trouble climbing a flight of stairs, and the other one is fist-pumping after getting shot. No comparison,” Musk said.
