Trump Says 2024 Will Be His Last Presidential Campaign

Former President Donald Trump has announced that his current bid for the presidency will be his last.

In a recent interview on “Full Measure,” Trump stated that he has no plans to run for office again in 2028 if he is unsuccessful in the upcoming election against Vice President Kamala Harris.

When asked about the possibility of a fourth campaign, Trump replied, “I think that that will be it. I don’t see that at all.”

Trump, who won the 2016 election but lost in 2020 to President Joe Biden, reentered the race for 2024. Despite facing legal challenges and a felony conviction, he was polling well against Biden before the shift in focus to Harris, who is now the Democratic candidate.

If Trump were to lose, he would be 82 by the time of the 2028 election, a point he seems to be acknowledging in his decision not to run again.

Age has been a central theme in this campaign, with many criticizing Biden’s age before he passed the torch to Harris.

According to polling data from The Hill/Decision Desk HQ, Harris has a 55% chance of winning the election, having gained ground in key battleground states after her debate against Trump.

This race marks a critical moment for both candidates, as they compete for the presidency in what could be Trump’s final political battle.
