Trump preps restart of MAGA rallies and will announce after 2022 midterms if he is running again—as he calls potential opponent Larry Hogan a ‘total loser’

  • Former President Donald Trump is preparing to restart his MAGA rallies as early as May, CNN reported Wednesday 
  • Trump also told the Dan Bongino Show that if he runs for president he’d wait unitl after the 2022 midterms to announce a bid 
  • ‘Could do it sooner, but I think right after the election would be good, especially if you have a good election,’ Trump told Bongino 
  • He added that ‘if you didn’t have a good election, I’m not sure that that wouldn’t be good also,’ suggesting he could swoop in and help the Republican Party
  • Trump went after Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan during the interview, calling him a ‘RINO’ – a Republican in name only – and a ‘total loser’ 
  • ‘I think he wants to run. I think I would give him less than a zero per cent chance, OK?’ Trump said
