- ‘Could do it sooner, but I think right after the election would be good, especially if you have a good election,’ Trump told Bongino
- He added that ‘if you didn’t have a good election, I’m not sure that that wouldn’t be good also,’ suggesting he could swoop in and help the Republican Party
- Trump went after Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan during the interview, calling him a ‘RINO’ – a Republican in name only – and a ‘total loser’
