President Donald Trump is leading the modern Republican Party, and the results are staggering. According to a new report from the Washington Post, Trump’s endorsed candidates in the midterm primaries so far have overwhelmingly dominated their elections.
Per the report, Trump has netted a jaw-dropping 93 landslide victories in the midterm primaries, along with 68 uncontested wins and 21 “close wins.” Additionally, Trump has endorsed 39 candidates this year for open seats, and only three of those candidates lost their primaries.
According to a previous report from RSBN, American voters have also supported the 45th president by voting for opponents of the House Republicans who opted to support impeaching Trump because of the so-called “insurrection” of Jan. 6, 2021. Of the ten Republicans who voted to impeach Trump, eight of them will not be returning to Washington D.C.
Notably, Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., recently lost her congressional seat to Trump-endorsed Harriet Hageman. The majority of “impeacher” incumbents either retired or were voted out following Trump’s endorsement of a challenger to their seat, the report noted. Rep. Adam Kingzinger, R-Ill., and Rep. John Katko, R-N.Y., retired due to “redistricting.”
Additionally, a new report from Trafalgar Group found that Republican voters’ motivation to participate in the November midterm elections this year have handily increased following the FBI’s shocking raid on President Trump’s private Florida residence.
According to the poll, over 83 percent of Republican voters said their motivation has increased their determination to get to the polls this fall.
Trump’s picks for GOP seats across the nation have continued to demonstrate his firm control over the Republican Party. Further, the Washington Post reported that 94 percent of Trump-endorsed Republican candidates have won their primary elections so far, illustrating a nationwide energy and support for America First candidates and their policies.
