Trump Organization Envisions Romanian Expansion

The Trump Organization is moving forward with plans to expand its global footprint, according to reports.

The New York Times reports that the company has looked at sites in Transylvania.

“We are incredibly excited about our projects in Bucharest and Cluj, which mark our first ventures in Romania,” said a spokesperson for the Trump Organization. “The Trump Organization looks forward to bringing truly iconic buildings to these great cities — buildings that will reflect the highest standards of design and quality while redefining each city’s dynamic skyline.”

The company’s Bucharest location was publicly announced in July 2025. “Trump Tower Bucharest fully reflects our unwavering commitment to excellence, luxury, and innovation,” Executive Vice President of The Trump Organization Eric Trump stated at the time. “We are honored to collaborate with SDC Imobiliare on this landmark development that will introduce an unprecedented level of quality and service to the Romanian market.”

Real estate developer Dar Global and the Trump Organization similarly announced last year that Dubai is receiving a Trump International Hotel & Tower. Dar Global CEO Ziad El Chaar noted that Dubai’s “vibrant economy and strategic location make it a prime destination for global investment, and Dar Global recognizes this potential.”

The Trump Organization is also considering erecting a tower in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Trump Organization representatives are set to “survey the proposed location of the Trump Tower building and hope to have a working session with the city’s leaders about this project,” the 2025 document reviewed by Reuters adds. It was signed by the acting head of Vietnam’s foreign ministry department.
