Trump on Iowa Caucus: ‘Storm Has Had Zero Effect’

Former President Donald Trump returned to Iowa ahead of the caucuses this week, claiming that the storm has had “zero effect” on his supporters continuing to show up for him.

“You have to see what’s outside, we have a lot of people here,” Trump said. “If this is any indication, the storm has had zero effect.”

Trump held a campaign rally in Indianola, Iowa on Sunday, which aired live on Newsmax.

“This is tremendous,” the former president continued. “They always say you have very hardy people. I’ve heard that. You’re hardy people. We like hardy people.”

Despite leading by a wide margin in the polls, Trump told those in attendance to show up Monday night at their caucus sites.

“So brave the weather and go out and save America because that’s what you’re doing,” Trump said. “This is really about saving our country.”

“These caucuses are your personal chance to score the ultimate victory over the liars, cheaters, thugs, perverts, frauds, crooks, freaks, creeps, and other quite nice people.”
