Trump Greeted With Enthusiastic Welcome at Army-Navy Game

President Donald Trump was met with an enthusiastic and patriotic reception at the 125th Army-Navy Game in Landover, Maryland over the weekend.

This marked another chapter in Trump’s longstanding tradition of honoring the military’s cherished rivalry. He first attended the game in 2016 as President-elect and went on to make three appearances as commander-in-chief, each time greeted by an energized and supportive crowd.

By contrast, former President Barack Obama attended the game only once, in 2011, during his presidency, and President Joe Biden has yet to attend as Commander-in-Chief, though he did make an appearance as Vice President in 2012.

Trump’s arrival in Maryland was greeted by cheering supporters along the motorcade route, underscoring his connection with military families and the broader public.

Joining him were Vice President-elect J.D. Vance, who brought Marine veteran Daniel Penny as his guest, and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. Penny was acquitted at his trial just days prior. Also present with the group were Trump’s nominee for Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, Elon Musk, former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-LA), and incoming Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD).

Rep. Wesley Hunt (R-TX) also posted a photo of him and Trump at the game to X.

“Army-Navy Game with America’s President,” Hunt wrote. “Only in America can a West Point graduate find himself seated beside the greatest president this nation will ever know.”

“This country, built on dreams and boundless opportunity, is a land where anything is possible,” Hunt added.
