Former President Donald Trump called for both him and President Joe Biden to take a drug test prior to their debate this week.
“DRUG TEST FOR CROOKED JOE BIDEN??? I WOULD, ALSO, IMMEDIATELY AGREE TO ONE!!!” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
Trump announced over the weekend that he has chosen his vice presidential running candidate and that the individual will be at Thursday’s debate.
Last month, a CNN press release announced that Trump and Biden will debate each other on June 27.
An audience will not be present at the debate to “ensure candidates may maximize the time allotted in the debate.”
“I’ve received and accepted an invitation from @CNN for a debate on June 27th,” Biden wrote on X at the time. “Over to you, Donald. As you said: anywhere, any time, any place.”
Trump wrote on Truth Social, “It is my great honor to accept the CNN Debate against Crooked Joe Biden, the WORST PRESIDENT in the History of the United States and a true Threat to Democracy, on June 27th. Likewise, I accept the ABC News Debate against Crooked Joe on September 10th. Thank you, DJT!”
