The first three episodes of “The Chosen” season 4 grossed over $6 million during its opening weekend.
Counting its February 1 opening, the episodes grossed nearly $7.5 million.
The first three episodes will remain in theaters until February 14. The next three episodes will be released on February 15th, followed by the last two episodes on February 29th.
When the first two episodes of season 3 were released in theaters, the show grossed $8.7 million on opening weekend.
The groups behind âThe Chosenâ and the film âJesus Revolutionâ are now focusing on a project portraying the life of King David.
âHouse of Davidâ will stream on Amazon Prime Video.
The showâs logline reads, according to The Hollywood Reporter, âHouse of David follows the once-mighty King Saul as he falls victim to his own pride.
