The Biden Admin Is Reportedly Flying Illegal Alien Women Out of Texas to Get Abortions

The Biden administration has reportedly been transporting pregnant illegal alien women and girls out of Texas and into neighboring states to get around Texas’ newly-enacted laws banning most abortions.

Signed by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott in 2021, Texas’ “Heartbeat Bill” went into effect last September and effectively bans most abortions in the state, outlawing the procedure after a baby’s heartbeat can be detected on an ultrasound (usually around the 6th or 7th week of pregnancy). Then, after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade last month, Texas abortion clinics stopped offering abortions altogether, making it impossible for women – including pregnant migrants who just crossed the U.S. border unlawfully – to find a place that would murder their child for money.

To get around the law, the Biden administration is allegedly transporting – at taxpayer expense – pregnant illegal alien minors who’ve been apprehended at the border into nearby states to get abortions.

Reuters reports:

Biden officials are exploring ways to provide abortion access for pregnant women and girls in U.S. immigration custody in states with bans, four U.S. officials who requested anonymity to discuss the government plans told Reuters.

Many federal shelters for unaccompanied children apprehended at the U.S.-Mexico border are located in Texas, where a Republican-backed law that went into effect in September banned abortions at six weeks.

For the past nine months, U.S. health officials have been flying or driving minors from Texas shelters to other states for abortions.

The report does not add how many migrant women have been taken out-of-state for abortions, or how many babies have been killed thanks to this policy.

Liberal advocacy groups are also worried that illegal alien women currently living in a pro-life state might have trouble getting across state lines to access abortion care because they don’t have legal documents like drivers’ licenses.

Under pressure from rabid abortion advocates, Biden on Friday announced plans to sign an executive order that will expand access to abortion pills and contraception via HHS, and will provide “technical assistance to states affording legal protection to out-of-state patients as well as providers who offer legal reproductive health care.”
