Border Patrol agents have apprehended more than 50,000 illegal immigrants during the first week of December.
Breitbart Texas obtained unofficial Border Patrol reports detailing the matter.
According to the documents, the Del Rio Sector had the most migrant apprehensions, with an estimated 20,000.
The Tucson Sector saw around 19,000 migrant apprehensions.
American Faith reported that the Tuscon Sector of the southern border announced that it was reducing its social media communication to move agents to exclusively process illegal immigrants.
The transition came as agents apprehended more than 15,000 migrants in one week.
