Target and Bud Light have reportedly lost a combined total in $28 billion worth of revenue amid marketing campaigns geared towards transgender individuals.
Bud Light promoted transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney for its March March Madness contest, while Target was forced to suspend some of its “Pride” themed items.
Anheuser-Busch, Bud Light’s parent company, reportedly lost $19 billion while Target saw a drap in more than $9 billion in market value.
From The Daily Caller:
Conservatives put pressure on both companies, calling for nationwide boycotts. Target pulled items that were “at the center of the most significant confrontational behavior,” company spokesperson Kayla Castaneda said. Thousands of Pride month products were originally listed, ranging from books and home furnishings to clothing items.
