Republicans have made serious gains in voter registration, sharply cutting into Democrat advantages across key battleground states since November 2020, according to data from Secretaries of State in Pennsylvania, Florida, North Carolina, Iowa, and Nevada.
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced he won’t be donating money to help state and local officials administer the 2022 elections or any other election after criticism that the nearly $400 million he injected into the 2020 presidential contest unfairly bolstered Democratic turnout.
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania must release its records pertaining to a “glitch” within its Department of Transportation that allowed non-citizens to register to vote in the state for decades. In 2017, authorities discovered an “error” in the computer system of Pennsylvania’s department of transportation “non-United States citizens applying for or renewing a driver’s license to register to vote in the Commonwealth.”
This evidence should be enough for the Pennsylvania legislature to recognize there is a real problem when private money and private actors collaborate with election officials.
