Pennsylvania’s Election Law Advisory Board has released an interim report making five recommendations for how the legislature can address grey areas in the state election code as it relates to mail-in voting.

"Based on public reports regarding the 2022 General Election in Monmouth County, a full investigation is warranted to encourage and preserve public trust in our elections, including recommendations for reforms to benefit the conduct of contests statewide," said Attorney General Matthew Platkin.

An investigation is underway in New Jersey where double counting may have flipped the result of at least one local contest in the 2022 elections.
