Taiwan's health ministry is urging its people who are elderly, very young, or with poor immunity to avoid traveling to China because of the uptick in respiratory illnesses in the country.
A study published in Scientific Reports found that females and young adults had greater risks of "general fatigue, headache, joint pain, chills and axillary pain compared to males and elderly adults."
The World Health Organization (WHO) announced last week that it has requested information from China regarding the increase in cases of respiratory diseases and increase in pneumonia among children.
