Acclaimed British author J.K. Rowling has announced the creation of a legal fund dedicated to supporting women who have faced discrimination for defending sex-based rights. The "J.K. Rowling Women’s Fund" (JKRWF), which Rowling is personally financing, will assist women in taking legal action against employers or organizations that target them for expressing views on sex and gender.
