A non-governmental organization, Safeguard Defenders, previously exposed that Chinese government police stations were disguised as "service stations" across the globe to spy on and harass anti-communist individuals.
"Cities and states cannot ignore federal law in an effort to constrain consumer choice, and it is encouraging that the Ninth Circuit upheld this standard," the California Restaurant Association (CRA) president and CEO said.
China's Ministry of Public Security "has repeatedly and flagrantly violated our nation's sovereignty, including by opening and operating a police station in the middle of New York City," according to the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York.
"There is a bill that will be put out in the Florida legislature that will make sure that the agreements purported to be entered in by Disney are revoked and the people's will is established and is upheld," Gov. DeSantis said.
“I can’t think of any bill that’s going to provide more protections to more people who are more vulnerable than this piece of legislation," said Rep. Beltran.
