The federal prosecution alleges that Trump was bent on retaining his position of power through a scheme that sought to undermine a fundamental function of the U.S. federal government—the execution of the process for “collecting, counting and certifying the results of the presidential election."
President Joe Biden spent the weekend in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware with First Lady Jill Biden, adding to the 360 days he has vacationed so far during his presidency.
"If I weren't winning in the polls, they wouldn't be doing it," Trump said in a video, referring to the investigation against him. "If I weren't running, they definitely wouldn't be doing it."
On Twitter, he wrote, "I’m #ProLife and I don’t apologize for it and I do believe the time has come for us to establish a minimum national standard of 15 weeks. I think creating a minimum national standard for when a child is able to feel pain in the womb is an idea whose time has come."
The DoD states, "Today’s commitment in security assistance, valued at up to $400 million, includes additional air defense munitions, artillery and other ammunition, armored vehicles, anti-armor weapons, and other equipment to help Ukraine counter Russia’s ongoing war of aggression."
