Chinese Premier Li Qiang touted the “comprehensive strategic partnership” between China and Iran on the sidelines of a diplomatic summit, despite Iran’s patronage of the Hamas terrorists who sparked a devastating conflict with Israel.
This ambitious endeavor, aiming to amass 300 billion yuan (roughly $41 billion), surpasses its predecessors in 2014 and 2019, which garnered 138.7 billion yuan and 200 billion yuan, respectively.
“We have decided to invite the Argentine Republic, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates to become full members of BRICS.”
