Dirk Smith from Eastern European Mission (EEM) said the Russia-Ukraine conflict is a "spiritual war," noting that the Bible is bringing people from all backgrounds together.
A Yale-educated lawyer, he originally aimed for success in business, but after becoming a born-again Christian in the 1950s, he felt called to create a Christian broadcasting network.
"I don’t agree with making fun of other people’s religions," said Kershaw. "I just don’t think that, no matter what religion you are, you should make fun of somebody else’s religion. So that’s something that I definitely don’t agree with."
