House Republicans have passed an education bill called the "Parents Bill of Rights" which emphasizes parental rights in the classroom, but it is unlikely that the Democratic-controlled Senate will take up the measure.
TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew neglected to provide a clear answer on whether individuals associated with ByteDance, the social media platform’s Chinese parent company, helped him prepare for a Thursday morning hearing before the House Energy and Commerce Committee.
TikTok is still storing Americans’ data on overseas servers, potentially placing it at risk of being accessed and exploited by China’s communist regime.
"There are still good men and women in the FBI whose task and purpose are to defend our country, but the FBI’s weaponized Washington Field Office is rotten to the core," said Matt Gaetz in a statement.
