The Star News Network filed a lawsuit against the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for violating the First Amendment after denying Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests.
Since the center's release, fears have emerged that the group will merely serve as a censorship organization against political discourse that runs contrary to the government's interests.
North Dakota Republican Gov. Doug Burgum signed a bill into law this week requiring that teachers inform parents if their child identifies as transgender.
The lawsuit, filed on behalf of Health Freedom Louisiana co-director Jill Hines and The Gateway Pundit news site founder Jim Hoft, reads, "This case challenges probably the largest mass-surveillance and mass-censorship program in American history."
"The Twitter Files and other public reporting have exposed how the federal government has pressured and colluded with Big Tech and other intermediaries to censor certain viewpoints on social and other media in ways that undermine First Amendment principles," Jordan's subpoena states.
"Disney was openly and legally granted a unique and special privilege, that privilege of running its own local government," former Florida Supreme Court justice Alan Lawson said. "That era is ending."
