"Americans must have confidence that our nation’s elections are free and fair," stated Comer in his opening remarks.

The findings, based on responses from over 9,300 of the 577,000 CBP and ICE agents surveyed, cited several reasons including increased workload, inconsistent border policies, irrelevant task assignments, resource insufficiency, and excessive overtime.

"Perhaps a future Congress will introduce legislation that actually begins to cut back on the size and scope of government called the Fiscal Irresponsibility Act!"

Earlier, the FBI had refused to release the document, citing its alleged confidentiality and sensitive information.

Conservative Political Action Committee (CPAC) chairman Matt Schlapp had a "Do Not Invite" list, The National Pulse reported.

"I absolutely will not vote to expand our national debt by $4 trillion," Paul tweeted. "When the Biden-McCarthy debt deal reaches the senate, I will offer a conservative alternative."

Many conservatives are furious with House Speaker Kevin McCarthy over his deal with President Biden to raise the debt ceiling.
