A Christian teacher in England who used the wrong pronouns for a student has been banned from the profession.

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy told CNBC’s Squawk Box earlier this week that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis should “sit down and negotiate” with Disney and “solve the problem.”

During a school board meeting on Tuesday, Mayor Staggs addressed his concerns about "inappropriate materials and pornographic materials" available to students in the district's libraries.

The incident occurred three separate times.

"Disney was openly and legally granted a unique and special privilege, that privilege of running its own local government," former Florida Supreme Court justice Alan Lawson said. "That era is ending."

"Religious liberty was a bedrock of America's founding."

The parents say the school didn't inform them of what happened until 17 days after the report was filed.

"You're just screaming at me," Massie told Rep. Jamaal Bowman.

The board appointed by Governor Ron DeSantis to oversee Walt Disney World's special taxation district in Florida is considering legal action after accusing the previous Disney-controlled board of passing restrictive covenants that limit their power, while also limiting their use of Disney-related trademarks, and Disney has defended its actions.
