Republican Rep. Jim Banks of Indiana has introduced a plan to end the United States free trade with China amid corporations efforts to keep the country as an asset.
"For far too long, federal regulators have focused on advancing the agenda of the far left at the expense of their core mission," said Senator Vance. "This legislation aims to correct that imbalance by ensuring the banking system is governed by ethical and apolitical oversight."
The tests, which took place over 12 weeks with some of the world's leading banks, including Citigroup Inc. and Wells Fargo & Co., sought to evaluate the potential of digital currencies to enhance both domestic and international payment systems.
