In a recent ruling by the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals based in New Orleans, stricter controls have been placed on the distribution and access of the abortion pill, mifepristone.
Women and girls have been restricted from public places like parks, gyms, and universities, as well as from employment opportunities with NGOs and the United Nations.
“If that car has cameras, they could use the modules to switch on the cameras and take the data. Ultimately you’ve got to ban any Chinese module in any vehicle, and you’d have to do it quite quickly.”
