U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers intercepted a significant drug smuggling attempt at the Port of Baltimore, seizing on April 29, over 200 pounds of marijuana concealed within a shipment of men's overalls.
A Baltimore judge ruled Thursday that convicted killer Adnan Syed will not serve additional prison time for the 1999 murder of his ex-girlfriend, Hae Min Lee. Syed, now 43, was sentenced to life in prison in 2000 but was released in 2022 after his conviction was vacated.
