Scalise, who himself recovered from life-threatening injuries after being targeted by a left-wing extremist, said Trump’s courage reminded him of the resolve necessary to lead during turbulent times.
Scalise also pointed to recent legislation, including the “One Big Beautiful Bill,” which delivers tax relief for families, support for small businesses, and increased security funding. He argued that despite media misrepresentation, these policies directly benefit working Americans while strengthening the nation’s borders and law enforcement.
