‘Sound of Freedom’ Announces More International Dates As Film Nears $200 Million Mark

Angel Studios announced Friday that the hit film “Sound of Freedom” will add more international dates as the film gets close to the $200 million mark worldwide.

The movie, which shows the horrors of human trafficking, will now be shown in more than 50 countries across the globe.

“We are thrilled to roll out another list of countries where ‘SOUND OF FREEDOM’ is doing a theatrical run, this list spans several continents including Europe, South America, Africa, and Asia, and there is even more to come,” senior vice president of Global Distribution for Angel Studios, said.

The film has been what many called the sleeper hit of the summer and remains in 2,100 theaters six weeks after its release on July 4, the press release noted. It has earned, as of August 30, $181,084,909, Box Office Mojo noted. And it now “ranks in the Top 10 Box Office Cume for the year,” the press release added.
