Singer Jay-Z Denies Allegations That He Assaulted 13-Year-Old With Diddy

Singer Jay-Z is strongly denying recent allegations that he assaulted a 13-year-old girl alongside Sean “Diddy” Combs at an MTV Video Music Awards after-party in 2000.

In a public statement, the music mogul refuted the claims and raised questions about the credibility of attorney Tony Buzbee, who is representing the accuser. Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, also expressed concern over the emotional toll such accusations have on his family.

“My lawyer received a blackmail attempt, called a demand letter, from a lawyer named Tony Buzbee. What he had calculated was the nature of these allegations and the public scrutiny would make me want to settle,” Jay-Z said.

“No sir, it had the opposite effect! It made me want to expose you for the fraud you are in a VERY public fashion. So no, I will not give you ONE RED PENNY!!”

The lawsuit, initially filed in October, was refiled Sunday in New York by an anonymous accuser who alleges that Carter assaulted her while Combs and another individual referred to as “Celebrity B” watched.

“These allegations are so heinous in nature that I implore you to file a criminal complaint, not a civil one!! Whomever would commit such a crime against a minor should be locked away, would you not agree?” the rap legend wrote.

“These alleged victims would deserve real justice if that were the case.”

This marks the latest in a series of lawsuits involving Combs, who has faced multiple accusations of sexual misconduct in recent months. However, this is the first case to include Jay-Z as a co-defendant. Both men have denied the allegations, and the case is likely to garner significant attention in the coming weeks.
