The Satanic Temple has revealed a “holiday display” at Michigan’s Capitol.
“TST members across Michigan united to create their State Capitol holiday display,” The Satanic Temple wrote on X. “Lansing’s TST Candidate congregation crafted the goat with help from TST West Michigan and TST Detroit. Stop by the Capitol to view our Michigan congregations’ display!”

According to WILX 10, the display features pagan yule goats.
Bender Bones, the Minister of Satan, told the outlet that the display is an “opportunity for us to all gather and be able to celebrate the year and celebrate our own achievements and celebrate religious plurality that’s what it’s all about for me.”
Last week, Christian veteran Michael Cassidy beheaded a satanic display at Iowa’s state Capitol.
He has been charged with 4th-degree criminal mischief.
“The world may tell Christians to submissively accept the legitimization of Satan, but none of the founders would have considered government sanction of Satanic altars inside Capitol buildings as protected by the First Amendment,” Cassidy told The Sentinel. “Anti-Christian values have steadily been mainstreamed more and more in recent decades, and Christians have largely acted like the proverbial frog in the boiling pot of water.”
He added that he was “outraged” by the presence of the statue. “My conscience is held captive to the word of God, not to bureaucratic decree. And so I acted.”
