Rep. Dan Crenshaw Heckled Over Red Flag Gun Laws, World Economic Forum Ties

Texas congressman branded “sellout’ and “traitor” at Texas GOP Convention for siding with Democrats on numerous issues.

Rep. Dan Crenshaw (Texas) was branded as “Eyepatch McCain” by comedian activist Alex Stein at the Texas GOP convention over Ukraine aid funding, red flag gun laws, and his connection to the World Economic Forum.

Stein was swarmed by Crenshaw’s security on Saturday after calling out Rep. Crenshaw as a “globalist” and a “RINO” (Republican In Name Only).

“Eyepatch McCain!” Stein shouted at Crenshaw. “You’re a RINO. You’re a globalist!”

Activists Alex Rosen and Cassady Campbell also attempted to ask the cycloptic congressman about his support for sending $40 billion to Ukraine and his links to the WEF.

Crenshaw was one of the WEF’s 127 Young Global Leaders in 2019, but the WEF website scrubbed the page of participants. An archived screenshot is available below:

Crenshaw responded on Twitter: “This is what happens when angry little boys like @alexstein99 don’t grow up and can’t get girlfriends…”

Stein replied: “Dan, I’m 2 feet taller than you bud…lol.”

Left-wing website Mediaite claimed Stein assaulted Crenshaw, but available video shows Crenshaw’s security accosting Stein and others with him.

This comes a day after Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) was booed at the convention for supporting red flag gun laws.

Eyepatch McCain is a reference to the late Sen. John McCain, one of the most prolific RINOs in the Senate who never hesitated to call for more wars and restrictions on constitutional rights.

This incident is just further evidence that the Republican base is turning against the RINO faction of the GOP for betraying conservative values and getting on board with Democrat initiatives.
