Protestors Stand Outside Indiana Statehouse in Anti-Trump Demonstration

In yet another display of left-wing outrage, hundreds of protestors gathered outside the Indiana Statehouse on Tuesday afternoon, chanting, “America has no kings!”

The demonstration targeted President Donald Trump and billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk, as activists railed against Trump’s handling of the war in Ukraine and his relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The protest, part of the nationwide movement “50501” (50 states, 50 protests, one movement), has seen leftist activists take to the streets repeatedly since Trump’s inauguration.

Many demonstrators held signs accusing the Trump administration of fascism and criticized Musk over concerns about cuts to federal programs like Medicare and Social Security—though Musk, a private citizen, has no control over such policies.

This latest protest is one of several that have taken place outside the Indiana Statehouse in recent weeks, as activists continue their efforts to undermine the administration’s policies and economic agenda.

Last month, a 28-year-old Indiana man was arrested for making violent threats against Elon Musk on social media. David Cherry was taken into custody by Indiana State Police on Tuesday after law enforcement in Texas alerted them to the threats.

According to an affidavit filed Thursday in Harrison County, investigators identified several posts made from the social media account @effective_pawn on platform X. One of the posts directly threatened Musk, stating, “We’re gunning you down, next Muskrat.” Another post read, “You’re robbing the American people. We will gut you and parade your corpse through the streets.” A third post threatened to “plant a bomb in Elon Musk’s house.”
