Pro-Palestine Protestors Attack U.S. Embassy in Beirut

The U.S. embassy in Beirut, Lebanon, was attacked by protestors carrying Palestinian and Hamas flags, The Post Millennial reported.

The event followed reports of a Gaza explosion that killed hundreds.

Police used tear gas to scatter the protestors, who gathered hours before Biden was scheduled to arrive in Israel.

One protestor was recorded climbing a fence, waving a Palestinian flag at the crowd.

The State Department gave embassy employees the option to leave Beirut, cautioning Americans against traveling to Lebanon. “Do Not travel to Lebanon due to the unpredictable security situation related to rocket, missile, and artillery exchanges between Israel and Hezbollah or other armed militant factions,” an advisory read. “Reconsider travel to Lebanon due to terrorism, civil unrest, armed conflict, crime, kidnapping, and Embassy Beirut’s limited capacity to provide support to US citizens.”

Rioters also gathered outside the British embassy in Tehran and the U.S. embassy in Jordan.
