Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said over the weekend that the military has moved into a “second stage” of the war against Hamas.
During an address to the country, the Israeli leader said that the fight is for the survival of the country, adding that the war would only get more intense in the coming weeks.
Netanyahu said the conflict is the “second War of Independence” and that the country now faces a test in which they will be the “victors.”
