Planned Parenthood Claims Virginity is ‘Made-Up Concept’

Planned Parenthood released a video claiming that virginity is a “made-up concept.”

According to the video, virginity was “created simply to control and shame people.”

“Sex means different things to different people,” a woman says.

“Sex is defined by one thing, and one thing only,” the video adds. “You.”

The video then describes various explicit sexual acts, encouraging audiences to “figure it out on your own terms.”

In July, Planned Parenthood shared a tweet saying virginity was a “social construct.”

The caption read, “The idea of virginity comes from outdated — let’s be real, patriarchal — ways of thinking that hurts everyone.”

Several social media users condemned the tweet, calling Planned Parenthood “groomers.”

One account, Gays Against Groomers, replied to Planned Parenthood:

“Once again Planned Parenthood is gaslighting the youth, this time into thinking virginity doesn’t exist, and that they should throw it away immediately. Why? Could it be because virgins aren’t paying customers to Planned Parenthood? Stop telling children they are sexual beings, you GROOMERS.”

The move comes as organizations have sexualized children.

American Faith reported that the World Health Organisation (WHO) stirred controversy with its guidance on sexual education for children under four, prompting calls for its withdrawal.

The guidance, aimed at European policymakers, encourages young children to “ask questions about sexuality” and “explore gender identities.”

The material further emphasizes teaching children about the “enjoyment and pleasure when touching one’s own body, early childhood masturbation,” regarded as the “minimal standards that need to be covered by sexuality education.”

This advice, however, has been staunchly rejected by the U.K. Government, which has neither distributed nor promoted the guidelines to schools.
