Piers Morgan is calling for ABC’s The View to be canceled, accusing the show’s hosts of peddling propaganda and relentless leftist bias. Writing in the New York Post, Morgan slammed co-hosts Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro, and Alyssa Farah Griffin for their persistent attacks on President Donald Trump.
Morgan argued that the show has strayed from its original mission of fostering diverse opinions, becoming a “pointless, irrelevant parody” instead. He criticized the hosts for their “unhinged” behavior during the election cycle, noting their display of mourning attire after Trump’s sweeping election victory as emblematic of their bias.
He took aim at individual hosts, including Goldberg, who once claimed the Holocaust wasn’t about race, and Behar, whom he accused of hypocrisy over her past controversies. Morgan contended that their one-sided commentary, labeled by him as an “insufferably woke worldview,” has alienated the majority of Americans, who have repudiated such perspectives.
According to Morgan, The View no longer reflects its founding vision under Barbara Walters but has devolved into an echo chamber. He urged ABC to cancel the show, claiming it is out of step with mainstream America and no longer relevant in today’s cultural and political landscape.
