An exclusive report from Breitbart revealed that the Pentagon is “scrambling” due to the incoming Trump administration’s plans to remove woke generals.
One source told the outlet that the Pentagon’s “DEI pages are starting to disappear off the main websites.”
“They’re being archived as we speak. They are full-bore focused on cleaning up anything DEI-related,” the source told Breitbart, while another added that Pentagon employees are trying to find out if they are on the removal list.
The internal disarray comes as the Trump transition team is considering a draft executive order that would allow generals and admirals “lacking in requisite leadership qualities” to be removed and follow through on Trump’s goal to fire “woke generals.”
Breitbart learned that a member of the transition team has begun reaching out for the names of those who have pursued diversity, equity, and inclusion policies.
Retired Army Chief Warrant Officer 2 Samuel Shoemate, who runs a whistleblower website and is involved in the name-gathering, told Breitbart that he is differentiating between those who sought DEI and those who merely went along with DEI policies.
“They want to lop off the head of the Marxist snake. And so that’s the primary criteria that I’m trying to focus on,” he said.
