Environmental Activist Says Cheese is Racist, Dairy Shouldn’t Be Served in Schools

  • Because some black people are lactose intolerant.

An environmental activist is petitioning her local council to remove cheese and other dairy products from the school menu because she claims the food items are “racist.”

Yes, really.

Extinction rebellion member Alison Plaumer told local officials at a Brighton and Hove City Council meeting that dairy is racist because black people are more likely to be lactose intolerant.

“Arguably, there is a racist element to serving dairy too much because 65 per cent of the world’s population are lactose intolerant, many from the BAME (black, Asian and minority ethnic) community,” said Plaumer.

She is demanding plant-based only food be introduced at all state run schools for two days a week and for council events to be completely plant-based once the pandemic is finished.

Black pro-life group slams MLB’s decision to pull All-Star Game out of Georgia

The leaders of a black pro-life group have written a letter to Major League Baseball slamming the sports franchise for pulling its annual All-Star Game out of Atlanta in the wake of backlash against an election reform bill recently passed in Georgia.

Kevin McGary and Neil Mammen, the co-founders of Every Black Life Matters, an organization that works to “protect black life from conception to death,” wrote an open letter to the MLB asking, “Where is the same courage as Branch Rickey?” They were referring to the late Branch Rickey, who signed Jackie Robinson as the first African American MLB player in 1947.

“In a few days from now on April 15 it will have been 74 years ago that the MLB began to unravel segregation in sports,” they wrote. “Jackie Robinson and Branch Rickey made a small step for man, but a huge step for this country. Where has that courage gone?”

McGary and Mammen slammed the MLB for “moving venues and threatening Georgians,” calling on the organization to “redouble efforts to expand services in Georgia.” He noted that the All-Star Game, originally scheduled to take place in Georgia in July, was “destined to bring over $190 million in commerce during the MLB All-Star festivities.”

Since that figure “represents tens of thousands of employment options in Georgia” and the state’s employment segment is majority-minority, they concluded that blacks will be “disproportionately harmed by MLB and other companies who think it’s more important to socially preem about being ‘woke.’” Although it was not mentioned in the letter, the MLB decided to move the All-Star Game from Atlanta to Denver, Colorado, to protest the newly passed Election Integrity Act of 2021, which critics argue amounts to voter suppression.

McGary and Mammen rejected that premise: “If MLB were truly concerned about helping and supporting black lives, they would applaud the changes in Georgia voting laws that ensure every legal vote’s accuracy.” The Election Integrity Act’s passage comes after concerns about voter fraud led former President Donald Trump and his supporters to cast doubt on the legitimacy of the 2020 presidential election results in a handful of contested swing states, including Georgia.

The law includes strengthened voter ID requirements for mail-in ballots and expands early voting in most counties. Additionally, it forbids political operatives from handing out water or any other item of value while people are waiting in line to vote but permits poll workers to do so.

“With Georgia’s notable vote irregularities of the past, there’s little doubt many blacks saw nullification of their collective will,” McGary and Mammen asserted. “The surprising truth is: any illegal vote creates voter disenfranchisement (generally), but due to ratio as a percentage of the population, vote fraud imposes a disproportionally negative effect on black life (especially black life in urbanized, poor communities).”

“It is incredibly disheartening that the historical stance against segregation taken by Major League Baseball is going to be sullied by this cowardly move to withdraw from Georgia. The same organization that fought its way against national sentiment against black people, has turned their back on supporting civil rights.”

Florida Reports Single-Digit CCP Virus Deaths for First Time Since September

Newly reported deaths related to COVID-19 dropped to the single digits in the state of Florida for the first time in months, health officials confirmed on April 11.

The Florida Department of Health (FDOH) said seven Floridians, as well as two nonresidential citizens, died as a result of the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus, the Palm Beach Post reported.

COVID-19 is caused by the CCP virus, commonly referred to as the novel coronavirus, which originated in China in late 2019.

The last time the Sunshine State saw COVID-19 deaths drop to the single digits was on Sept. 28, 2020, when just five people died after contracting the virus.

Though deaths from the virus remain low, positive cases in the state increased by 5,520—at a positivity rate of 7.65 percent, according to data by the FDOH. Florida has now gone more than two weeks with fewer than 100 daily deaths from the CCP virus, with numbers ranging between 22 and 98, the Post reported.

According to the latest data provided by the FDOH, the state has verified more than 2.1 million positive COVID-19 cases since the start of the pandemic, and 34,021 deaths. Another 664 nonresidents have died in the state as a result of the CCP virus.

California—the most populous state in the United States—was the only state nationwide reporting a triple-digit increase in COVID-19 deaths on April 11. The state reported an increase of 105 deaths and 4,954 people who tested positive for the virus, according to the California Department of Public Health.

Biden v. Biden: ‘Anyone responsible for that many deaths should not remain as president of the U.S.’

Watch Joe Biden call for his own resignation.

During a debate with President Donald Trump in October 2020, Joe Biden declared that President Trump was “responsible” for all of the COVID-related deaths in the U.S., which at the time was up to “a thousand deaths a day,” according to Biden.

Biden then stated that Trump should therefore “not remain president.”

Ironically, Biden later had to announce that more than one hundred thousand people had died from COVID under his own watch in the matter of a few months.

If Trump was responsible for the COVID deaths under his watch, then Biden is responsible for the ones under his.

In other words, Joe Biden doesn’t think Joe Biden should remain president.

DARPA Unveils ‘COVID Microchip,’ Claims Not For Surveillance Purposes

The Pentagon unveiled a coronavirus microchip that it claims can detect illness and prevent the spread of COVID-19.

“The tiny green thing in there, you put it underneath your skin and what that tells you is that there are chemical reactions going on inside the body. And that signal means you’re going to have symptoms tomorrow,” retired Col. Matt Hepburn, an army infectious disease physician said.

The implant was developed by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, or DARPA, which claimed the device can not be used for surveillance purposes.

However, the idea to microchip humans due to COVID-19 appears to prove so-called “conspiracy theorists” were right all along.

Hepburn compared the microchip to a check engine light.

“We can have that information in three to five minutes. As you truncate that time, as you diagnose and treat, what you do is you stop the infection in its tracks,” Hepburn explained.

DARPA claimed COVID microchipping would only be used in the military, and there’s no plans for a civilian use of the device.

Critics have said the Democrat Party could mandate such microchipping on a broader scale.

CBS Praises Biden’s Afghan Withdrawal, Discounted Trump’s Peace Deal for It

There was some major whiplash on Tuesday’s CBS Evening News when it was reported President Biden would announce American’s withdrawal from Afghanistan after more than 20 years. The whiplash came from the network’s support for troop withdrawals being dependent on the party affiliation of the president behind it. They even discounted the peace deal President Trump struck to give America the opportunity, suggesting it was Biden’s idea.

“Breaking news: Leaving Afghanistan, President Biden to announce an end to America’s longest war, pulling all U.S. troops out by the 20th anniversary of the September 11th attacks,” anchor Norah O’Donnell cheerfully announced during the opening tease.

It was a happy tone that continued into the introduction of the full segment. “Now, here to Washington, a major announcement is coming from the President,” she touted. “Tomorrow, America’s longest war is coming to an end in a matter of months. A war that cost the U.S. more than 2,000 lives and taxpayers trillions of dollars.”

But almost six months ago to the day, on November 16, 2020, O’Donnell was appalled by President Trump’s decision to drawdown troops and bring them home:

Tonight, President Trump is expected to significantly reduce U.S. troop strength in Afghanistan and Iraq. Now, that’s despite warnings from Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and fired Defense Secretary Mark Esper that the move could lead to more violence in those countries.

CBS’s approval of McConnell’s criticism also changed with the political winds. While O’Donnell promoted him back then, on Tuesday, vindictive senior White House correspondent Weijia Jiang used him to suggest Republicans supported continuing the endless war. “Republicans slammed the decision,” she sniped before playing a sound bite of the minority leader.

Florida Gov. DeSantis Rakes In Huge Fundraising Haul For 2022

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is raking in huge fundraising sums in preparation for his 2022 re-election bid, reportedly raising nearly $6 million in just the last two months.

DeSantis had shut down fundraising efforts at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, but began fundraising again in October. Since then, he has raised more than $11 million.

DeSantis has even out raised the Florida Republican Party. Politico reported on Monday that it had raised $3.65 million the first three months of 2021.

DeSantis’ fundraising far outpaces that of Nikki Fried, the Agriculture Commissioner who is the only Democrat elected statewide, and could be DeSantis’ top challenger in 2022.

A big part of DeSantis’ popularity with conservatives and Republicans stems from his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic in the Sunshine State.

Early on, he avoided mandatory lock downs and mask mandates, and focused on the safety of Florida’s large senior citizen population. Now a year later, Florida has been open for business, and Florida’s school children are back in the classroom.

Despite Pandemic, Beijing Continues to Persecute Falun Gong Practitioners, Leaked Document Shows

Even while trying to contain the pandemic in China, the communist regime continued to persecute adherents of spiritual group Falun Gong, a leaked internal document from 2020 shows.

The official document, from a district in eastern China, listed a campaign to suppress Falun Gong practitioners among the key achievements in that area in 2020, alongside other tasks such as controlling the pandemic and “maintaining social stability.”

Falun Gong, also known as Falun Dafa, is a spiritual practice that originated in northeastern China in 1992, featuring five slow-moving exercises and moral teachings based on the tenets of truthfulness, compassion, and tolerance.

Official data reported that 70-100 million adherents had practiced in China by 1999. However, after the Chinese regime felt threatened by the popularity and independence of the practice, it began to persecute Falun Gong in July 1999 and millions have been detained inside prisons, labor camps, and other facilities, according to the Falun Dafa Information Center.

The Epoch Times recently obtained an internal document, “2020 Work Summary and 2021 Work Plan of the district PLAC,” issued by the Wuzhong district Political and Legal Affairs Commission (PLAC) of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in November 2020.

Wuzhong is a district located in Suzhou city of Jiangsu Province, an eastern-central coastal province of China.

The PLAC, a communist agency that oversees the country’s police, courts, and prisons, has branches in each province, city, and township.

In its work summary for 2020, the district PLAC said that it had launched a 100-day campaign to further suppress Falun Gong and its adherents, carrying out so-called “educational transformation.”

“Transformation,” a name given by the CCP, means to force Falun Gong practitioners to denounce the belief through harassment, brainwashing, and torture. Thousands are confirmed to have been brutally persecuted to death.

17 Deaths in Wuzhong District

The Epoch Times obtained another data report in 2017 from the State Security Brigade in Wuzhong, indicating that at least 17 Falun Gong practitioners in Wuzhong district died for holding onto their faith.

According to the document, by July 24, 2017, 153 local practitioners had been monitored by Wuzhong authorities, with 76 people under observation.

The total number of deaths in this district was 17, the report said.

Since July 1999, over 4,600 Falun Gong adherents have been killed in the persecution in China. Victims’ names, statistical data, and brief summaries of confirmed deaths are available on Minghui.org.

The actual number of deaths is thought to be much higher as thousands of cases remain unconfirmed.

Top Dems Distance Themselves From Squad’s Call to Abolish Police

Top Democrats, including President Joe Biden and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., kept members of the Squad at arm’s length after calls came from them to abolish the police following the fatal police shooting of Black man Daunte Wright, 20.

Squad member Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., suggested Monday in a tweet that policing “can’t be reformed” but White House press secretary Jen Psaki responded Tuesday that is “not the president’s view.”

Speaker Pelosi pointed back to the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act, which seeks to do exactly that: reform policing.

“As I painfully watched the trial of Derek Chauvin during Holy Week, I was grateful that the House had already passed the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act,” Pelosi said in a statement to Fox News. “This is all the more sad with the tragic killing of Daunte Wright this week.

“Our legislation provides a solution to systemic racism and does not paint all law enforcement with the same brush.

The Squad comprises Reps. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., and Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass.
